Pay: $30,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year
Position Summary:
- Manage and direct second-shift production staff to meet daily schedules and quality standards
- Ensure cGMP, safety, and documentation compliance throughout the shift
- Conduct shift-start and shift-end handoffs with first-shift leadership
- Resolve production, staffing, and equipment issues in real time, escalating as needed
- Prepare shift reports covering output, downtime, and quality concerns
- Train, coach, evaluate, and develop second-shift supervisors, leads, and team members
- Participate in hiring, scheduling, and performance management for second-shift staff
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of production management experience (required)
- Experience in cGMP cosmetic and/or OTC manufacturing
- Ability to lead independently with limited on-site senior management during evening hours
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Performs well under pressure while maintaining composure and respect for everyone
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to write reports and present findings clearly to all levels of management
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
Physical & Mental Demands
Physical Demands: Light. The role involves exerting up to 30 lbs. of force occasionally, up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or a negligible amount constantly to move objects. It requires walking or standing to a significant degree.
Mental Demands: Thinking, concentrating, learning, interacting with others, active listening, and working under demanding conditions. This position works closely with our Research and Development Department.
Manufacturing Environment: Well-lit, heated, and air-conditioned.
